We provide the following mobile veterinary services in South Yorkshire and parts of West Yorkshire: Quality of life assessment, End of life care, Peaceful home euthanasia, Cremation Services through our partners PCS Crematiums, EU Animal Health Certificates
Our services are subject to availability and may vary depending on your location. We reserve the right to decline service requests if we are unable to accommodate them in your area or schedule.
3.1. Appointments must be booked in advance via phone, text, email or our website.
3.2. We will confirm your appointment via your preferred communication method.
3.3. Clients are responsible for ensuring the animal is present and accessible at the time of the appointment.
3.4. Cancellation or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Late cancellation may incur a fee.
4.1. Fees for services will be communicated during the booking process.
4.2. Payment is due upon the competition of the service, unless otherwise agreed upon.
4.3. We accept payment via cash or bank transfer.
4.4. Late payments may result in additional charges.
5.1. Our quality of life assessment is designed to provide professional guidance on your pet’s condition and wellbeing.
5.2. End of life care services are tailored to ensure your pet’s comfort and dignity during their final days.
5.3. These services are advisory in nature and final decisions regarding your pet’s care remain the owner’s responsibility.
6.1. Euthanasia will only be performed if deemed medically necessary and ethical by our veterinarian.
6.2. You must provide consent by signing an euthanasia consent form prior to the procedure.
6.3. It is your responsibility to inform us of any specific requests or religious or cultural considerations.
6.4. Urgent or immediate visit requests may result in additional charges.
6.5. Euthanasia prices vary depending on your location, pet’s weight and transportation if requested. Our Cremation Services are carried by our partners PCS Crematoriums.
6.6. We offer cremation services through our partner as part of our end of life care.
6.7. Options for communal or private cremation will be discussed with you.
6.8. Any ashes will be returned to you as per your preference, subject to service timelines.
6.9. Cremation prices vary depending on your location, pet’s weight, cremation type, transportation and delivery options.
At The Vet 2 Go, we are committed to providing safe, compassionate, and professional veterinary care in the home environment, including home euthanasia services. The safety of our veterinary team, clients, and animals remains our highest priority at all times.
7.1. Owners must inform us in advance if their dog has a history of aggression, fear, anxiety, or handling concerns.
7.2. Aggressive behaviour may include growling, snapping, lunging, biting, or any behaviour indicating a risk of harm.
7.3. Dogs may react unpredictably during examinations or end-of-life situations due to pain, stress, distress, or unfamiliar handling.
7.4. Dogs identified as potentially aggressive may be required to wear a secure, well-fitting muzzle prior to the vet’s arrival.
7.5. In some cases, we may recommend or require the administration of a prescribed oral sedative before the appointment, particularly for stressful procedures or home euthanasia visits.
7.6. Any sedation must only be given in accordance with veterinary advice and prescribed instructions.
7.7. If adequate safety measures are not in place, or if a dog cannot be safely approached or handled upon arrival, the appointment or procedure may be delayed, discontinued, or declined.
7.8. A call-out fee of £100 may still apply where an appointment cannot proceed due to safety concerns.
7.9. Alternative arrangements, including referral to a clinic setting, may be recommended where appropriate.
8.1. Our official veterinarian (OV) is certified and authorised to issue EU Animal Health Certificates for pet travel.
8.2. It is the client's responsibility to provide all the accurate and complete documentation for issuance of the AHC in timely manner, as late provision may result in additional charge (classified as Urgent AHC- when we have 10 days or less after we receive all the nessesary documentation and details for the requested AHC).
8.3. The client is responsible for ensuring compliance with travel requirements of the destination country, including rabies vaccination status and accurate microchip information.
8.4. Urgent EU animal health certificates (when we have 10 days or less after we receive all the nessesary documentation and details for the requested AHC) may result in additional charges.
9.1. You must provide accurate and truthful information about your pet’s condition and history.
9.2. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of our staff during the visit (e.g., restraining aggressive animals).
9.3. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss, injury or damage arising from the information you provide or your failure to comply with these terms.
10.1. While we strive to provide the highest standard of care, we are not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
10.2. Our liability from any claim arising from the provision of our services is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
11. 1. Refunds for cancellations will be provided if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.
11.2. No refunds will be issued for services already rendered.
12.1. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
12.2. Any data collected during the course of providing our services will be used solely for service delivery and administration services.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wels. Any disputes should be subject to the exclusive jurisdictions of the courts of England and Wels.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website or email.
