Petar came to our home after I had contacted Walker's pet cremation and home euthanasia services when our old rescue dog Dan became unwell, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. He was so sympathetic and compassionate. He explained everything that was going to happen and sured us we were doing the best thing. He treated our Dan with dignity all the time explaining what was happening. When it was time, he went outside so we could save our goodbyes as our Dan slipped away. A few days later we received a condolences card from Petar and family, he also messaged me a week later to ask if we were all OK I would definitely recommend Petar and his services to anyone he gave our dog so much care.
Petar was amazing towards our dog Oscar and me and my family, who was there when it was time to let Oscar go. The service after he was gone was also amazing. Never want to think about the day your dog goes, but this service would be the one to use, not to go to the vets and be done with
Belle
After her health took a turn for the worst, we knew it was time to say goodbye...
We wanted her to be in the comfort and familiar surroundings of home so we contacted Petar
When he came, he made us feel at ease and talked through everything compassionately during the process...he gave us time in private to say our final goodbyes...
Thank you so much for this...š
Having to have one of my beloved dogs put down was one of the hardest things to happen to me in my life. However contacting The Vet 2 Go was the best thing I could have done under the circumstances and I don't believe anyone else could have been more caring and considerate.
The communication from Elena to arrange things was superb and Petar is one amazing genuine person, who is so caring to your pet and the whole family at such a sad time. He took time to greet my Dog Mo at our family home and wanted to know details of his illness, he then explained the procedure in detail including reassurance that Mo wouldn't be in any distress. He guided us all to keep talking to Mo until the sad passing and then left us all to comfort each other in private until we were ready for Mo to be removed to be cremated.
Finally they were so kind and considerate after the event, sending us a wonderful condolence card and asking how me and my family were.
I couldn't be more thankful to Elena and Petar for everything they did for us, they are simply wonderful people.
Iām honestly struggling to find the words to describe how amazing Petar was when we chose to say goodbye to our beloved Dexter at home. On arrival he took the time to get to know Dexter and us. His history, his favourite treats, his toys, what he meant to us. He explained every step and ensured our 12yo son understood everything that was happening and gave him space and time to say goodbye and to process what was happening. We are so thankful to have found such a caring and compassionate vet to help us say goodbye to our wonderful furry boy. I would not hesitate to recommend Petar for home euthanasia. I donāt know how he finds the strength to do it, but we are very grateful he does.
Words cannot express how deeply thankful we are to dr petar for the kindness and care he showed Bailey our beloved dog . When Dr petar came into our home, Bailey sat by his side I knew then we had made the right decision in choosing petar to end Baileyās pain. Petar explained every step to us gave us as much time as we needed, we never felt rushed or unsure about what was happening.
He was very gentle and compassionate and we really appreciate his service.
Peter came to put Jewel to rest for us. He was kind and gentle with her and treated her with respect. And she went to sleep peacefully. Thank you peter. From Steve and Tracy Hall.
Firstly I would like to say from the moment petar entered my home his aura was kind, caring and extremely professional. He treated my gorgeous boy Ralph with the respect and dignity he deserved before and after he passed. Petar talked me through every stage reassuring me that I was doing the right and kindness thing for my boy. I had tried so hard to save him but I couldnāt and Petar couldnāt feel my pain. I never felt rushed Petar told me he would wait outside for as long as I needed to say my goodbyes. Petar also offered me advice on my other dogā¦he told me to get some cream for her nose to stop it cracking, that actually showed me how much he loves animals he did not need to give advice but he wanted to make sure I had no future problems..how kind. I canāt thank you enough for making the terrible situation into a calm friendly loving environment for my boy to go to sleep. I would recommend Petar to anyone in such a heartbreaking situation he is by far the best.
Thank you for giving Dougle a peaceful send off for us. It was heartbreaking, but the compassion shown by both of you was perfect. Thank you

The day came when we had to make the decision to lay our beloved Rollie to rest. Peter and the team were fantastic, so professional, personal, and considerate, took him away, and had his ashes back in a few days. Would highly recommend such a fantastic service.
After 14 years of loving Max the day finally came where we had to say a heartbreaking goodbye š¢Petar came to our home what a lovely man caring and compassionate talked about Max we shared all our memories time was no issue at all to him .
Talked us through everything and explained it all thoroughly. Max was on his bed all cosy and just went to sleep such a sad time but beautiful been in his own surroundings.

Pedar was lovely and made an unbearable situation a lot easier. We loved indie and had 11 perfect years with him. His brother teddy is missing him also. Thank you Pedar.
Petar was very understanding & caring when he came out at such short notice on a sunday to us. He was with us about an hour. Although a sad time he did make it as calm & as gentle as it could have been. I can 100% recommend Peter. So much better to be in the comfort of your own home for the last goodbye. X
Outstanding several petar was so kind and understanding with my dog I would recommend vet 2 go to anyone
Couldn't recommend petar enough, what a wonderful guy. From the beginning to the end the service he provided was just exceptional & we are very grateful for the love & care you shown us & to our lovely lola, from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much ā¤ļø
On Friday we made the extremely hard decision to say goodbye to our beloved Springer, Buzby, after nearly 14 years of him being an integral part of our lives. We didnāt want to take him to the vets as it would have been too clinical, so after some research, I decided to contact Petar from Walkers Pet Cremation and Home Euthanasia to see if he could help. Petar was a credit to his profession- he spent time comforting Buzby, showed compassion to both myself and my husband, and helped us come to terms with the reality that this was the kindest thing to do for him. He explained every stage of the procedure and gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. We canāt thank him, or recommend his service enoughā¤ļø

Such a lovely, caring and compassionate vet, the best weāve ever met. During our boys final moments Peter was supportive and understanding of our families needs and was very respectful allowing us time with our boy Riley. Peter made Rileyās last moments dignified.
We cannot thank you enough for all you did.
Iāll start from the beginning of our experience of Peter. When our beautiful girl Ollie the Golden Doodle was 12 she had a huge operation done by Peter, I thought he was a wonderful human and a fabulous vet but more importantly Ollie wouldnāt take her eyes off him and didnāt want to come home, she was a fussy bugger regarding humans so I knew, through her, that he truly was as awesome as I thought. Fast forward another 4 years, sheās 14 and needs another aweful operation, I knew who she would want and tracked down Peter, he performed the operation successfully and on collecting Ollie she walked around the table to greet us and then walked back to sit next to Peter, looking adoringly up at him šwhen we finally prised her away she walked past our car and to the back door of the vets where she sat listening to him talking. Iām a massive believer that our dogs have 6 senses and we only have 5 so we need to listen to them. Fast forward another 4 years and after 18 incredible fun filled, love filled years there was just no amount of love that could keep Ollie here any longer. I took her to the vet practice in the hope they could perform a miracle but sadly there was nothing they could do. So the decision was made that our gorgeous girl was going to heaven. Despite the vets at the practice thinking otherwise, Ollieās last hours on earth were going to be here in her own bed in her own home surrounded by all the people who loved her. I told the nurse at the vets this was my wish and she handed me a card with an avatar of Peter with his beautiful crazy hair and his lovely smile. I knew in that moment that Ollie was journeying to heaven in exactly the right hands. If something so heartbreakingly sad can be perfect Peter made it so. We have a very large family with huge amounts of emotion in the room and Peter cared for all of us but especially for Ollie. The last hours with your best furry friend are so precious and special, I canāt put into words what a beautiful soul Peter is and what an incredible affinity with animals he has. I would recommend so highly and with so much love and respect. ā¤ļø
As a family we cannot thank Peter from The Vet 2 Go enough ā¤ļø we knew when Reggie became ill with Lymphoma cancer we didnāt want to go to the vets surgery with him as he was petrified š¢ Peter came out the same day to our house and has looked after Reggie until today ā¤ļø the little details and personal touch is so beautiful and we cannot thank him enough ā¤ļøššš¢š¶š you are missed so much Reggie boy we love you ā¤ļø
We used this service to say goodbye to my soul dog. I could never have let her last moments be at the vets.I never thought death could be a peaceful and almost beautiful experience amidst the intense sadness and grief we felt. The calming and wise presence Petar has radiates from him. There wasn't a doubt in my mind after meeting him that we were in good hands.
He was patient and kind, not only to us and my dog ivy but also to our other household pets.
He explained everything thoroughly and made us feel at ease.
He picked up on moments where we needed a moment alone.
My dog spent her final moments asleep on the sofa in my arms with loving words in her ear and not a single ounce of stress. How could I wish for anything more.
The tiny touches he adds have been so well thought out too.
I honestly can't express my gratitude enough.
Letting my almost 15 year old border terrier go was really, really difficult, but I am glad I chose Vet 2 Go to help with sending him on. He treated Ted like an old friend and gave us all the information and time we needed to say goodbye. Allowing Ted to go in his own home was the right decision and I can't thank you enough for treating him so well in his final moments and afterwards.
When our two boys were ready to leave us we couldnāt have chosen anyone better than The Vet to Go.Peter was so compassionate and tender in every aspect. We felt comforted by meaningful actions.Such a lovely man, he made their passing a little easier.
Excellent! Petar was comforting & so caring with Oscar. Petar didn't rush anything, explained everything he was with us for over an hour it was homely and relaxed, we knew at an age of 11.5 Our Oscar was ready to go. We've had dogs continuously for 30 years, Petar is the best I've come across. I could not recommend Petar enough...thank you for caring Wendy and Mark X
Very highly recommended after helping my parents with their cat Mufasa and his end of life care.

I had the trauma of having to put my companion to sleep last week . She hated going to the vets and since her diagnosis and having to go more often had become even more fearful. Petar the vet came to my home and gave her the care and time she needed. She was comfortable and happy till the end. Thank you so much for making a traumatic experience bearable . Julie

We contacted Petar and the team when we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog Toby. Petar came and carried out an assessment on Tobyās quality of life and was extremely professional and caring, allowing us time to discuss everything we needed to ask. We wanted Toby to pass away peacefully at home and on the day, Petar was amazing. He demonstrated compassion and care, allowing Toby to cross the rainbow bridge with the utmost dignity. Nothing was too much trouble.Petarās lovely wife delivered Tobyās ashes to us with a beautiful card and his paw print on a plaque.Every part of the service we received was professional and impeccable and made such a difficult time much easier.
With our thanks to you all, from Deb and Mac xx ā¤ļø
When our old and utterly beautiful collie Murf came to the end of the many paths, tracks and woods of his life it was Petar who came to help him and us with that end and beginning.
Petar's dignified and compassionate presence was a boon to us all, and our last moments with Murf were transformed into loving memories. His respectful approach to us in our pain and his gentle but professional easing of Murf's passing were exemplary. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
We couldn't of asked for a more caring and compassionate vet to help our cat Rocky over the rainbow bridge,Peter was absolutely amazing with both us and Rocky, explaining every to us and making sure Rocky was as comfortable as possible...I can't thank Petar enough for his help and kind words in such a sad time.
We could never thank Petar enough for what was one of the hardest days of mine and Darrenās life life so far, having to make the decision to let our beloved dog Archie go after loving him for over 17 years his health and body had started failing him which was hard to watch. We knew we wanted to say our final goodbye at home so was recommended Petar through our own vets we remembered his as a vet from our surgery who had treated Archie before so we thought that quite fitting.
Well the day came on Tuesday 8th April 2025 10.00am Petar came and the minute he stepped into our home, for what was a devastating experience his calming ora and compassion somehow made it peaceful and beautiful. He talked us through every step explaining everything what will happen and when.
We ended up saying goodbye to Archie sat in our garden with the sun beaming down on us and listening to the birds singing Petar stayed with us a while and spoke lovely words of how he could see how much Archie was loved and what he meant to us and also we meant to him. A week later we received a condolence card with lovely words from Petar and family and also a text message to let us know he was thinking of us which was lovely and so kind.
For such a heartbreaking loss Petar went above and beyond we will never be able to thank him for making saying goodbye to Archie so special. Archie was so loved and will forever be missed heās left a massive whole in our hearts.
Clare and Darren Brown x
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to have our 14 year old dog Kaiser put to sleep on 4th April. Petar the vet came to our home & was absolutely wonderful & so caring. He made a very difficult situation easier to cope with. I would recommend Petar to anyone who has to make the dreaded decision.
We are so grateful to the vet 2 to go family team for their patience, care and emotional support before, during and afterwards. This was a difficult decision to make, one that we didn't want to make on our own. Petar was so supportive, to all our family during this time & I wouldn't think twice about recommending him, if you are ever in that difficult emotional position. It made it less stressful for our beautiful Chloe by Petar coming to the house. He made sure we were all supported, he gave us some time alone with her before he transported her to Walkers. Who again were so lovely.
I am unable to give more than 5 stars or I would. On the worst day a dog lover can face Petar helped our beloved Elmo on his final journey with professionalism, kindness and most of all understanding. Explaining every step of the process. This one in a million vet is a star in the veterinary world
I cannot recommend enough, this service is in your home and at your pace. Petar was very caring and understanding, there is no rush, it's done in a very humain way.
