Petar was amazing towards our dog Oscar and me and my family, who was there when it was time to let Oscar go. The service after he was gone was also amazing. Never want to think about the day your dog goes, but this service would be the one to use, not to go to the vets and be done with.

I’ll start from the beginning of our experience of Peter. When our beautiful girl Ollie the Golden Doodle was 12 she had a huge operation done by Peter, I thought he was a wonderful human and a fabulous vet but more importantly Ollie wouldn’t take her eyes off him and didn’t want to come home, she was a fussy bugger regarding humans so I knew, through her, that he truly was as awesome as I thought. Fast forward another 4 years, she’s 14 and needs another aweful operation,  I knew who she would want and tracked down Peter, he performed the operation successfully and on collecting Ollie she walked around the table to greet us and then walked back to sit next to Peter, looking adoringly up at him ?when we finally prised her away she walked past our car and to the back door of the vets where she sat listening to him talking. I’m a massive believer that our dogs have 6 senses and we only have 5 so we need to listen to them. Fast forward another 4 years and after 18 incredible fun filled, love filled years there was just no amount of love that could keep Ollie here any longer. I took her to the vet practice in the hope they could perform a miracle but sadly there was nothing they could do. So the decision was made that our gorgeous girl was going to heaven. Despite the vets at the practice thinking otherwise, Ollie’s last hours on earth were going to be here in her own bed in her own home surrounded by all the people who loved her. I told the nurse at the vets this was my wish and she handed me a card with an avatar of Peter with his beautiful crazy hair and his lovely smile. I knew in that moment that Ollie was journeying to heaven in exactly the right hands. If something so heartbreakingly sad can be perfect Peter made it so. We have a very large family with huge amounts of emotion in the room and Peter cared for all of us but especially for Ollie. The last hours with your best furry friend are so precious and special, I can’t put into words what a beautiful soul Peter is and what an incredible affinity with animals he has. I would recommend so highly and with so much love and respect. ❤️

Having to have one of my beloved dogs put down was one of the hardest things to happen to me in my life. However contacting The Vet 2 Go was the best thing I could have done under the circumstances and I don't believe anyone else could have been more caring and considerate.

The communication from Elena to arrange things was superb and Petar is one amazing genuine person, who is so caring to your pet and the whole family at such a sad time. He took time to greet my Dog Mo at our family home and wanted to know details of his illness, he then explained the procedure in detail including reassurance that Mo wouldn't be in any distress. He guided us all to keep talking to Mo until the sad passing and then left us all to comfort each other in private until we were ready for Mo to be removed to be cremated.

Finally they were so kind and considerate after the event, sending us a wonderful condolence card and asking how me and my family were.

I couldn't be more thankful to Elena and Petar for everything they did for us, they are simply wonderful people.

I’m honestly struggling to find the words to describe how amazing Petar was when we chose to say goodbye to our beloved Dexter at home. On arrival he took the time to get to know Dexter and us. His history, his favourite treats, his toys, what he meant to us. He explained every step and ensured our 12yo son understood everything that was happening and gave him space and time to say goodbye and to process what was happening. We are so thankful to have found such a caring and compassionate vet to help us say goodbye to our wonderful furry boy. I would not hesitate to recommend Petar for home euthanasia. Firstly I would like to say from the moment petar entered my home his aura was kind, caring and extremely professional. He treated my gorgeous boy Ralph with the respect and dignity he deserved before and after he passed. I could never have let her last moments be at the vets.I never thought death could be a peaceful and almost beautiful experience amidst the intense sadness and grief we felt.The calming and wise presence Petar has radiates from him. I want to share a huge thank you from myself and my partner for the incredible care and compassion that was shown to our Chocco yesterday as Petar gave him care and helped him pass peacefully. It was such a comfort seeing him pass with no pain with his family and brother Catrick. 

The incredible care and respect shown by Petar helped immeasurably. When he swaddled Chocco in a blanket to take him away I was so touched by this kindness and how peaceful he looked. 

Petar was also very sweet with our other cat Catrick and definitely helped him to be calm in the circumstance. 

I said this to Petar- he was like a chaplain or priest in terms of how he supported myself and my partner. That level of support meant I felt able to be in the room as Chocco passed away (something i was previously sure i couldn’t do)

Experiencing this sad moment at home was immeasurably more peaceful than being at the vets. 

I am also very greatful for your amazing customer service and support- we couldn’t believe how quickly you responded and sent a vet and on a sunday too. This enabled us to spend lots of time with Chocco rather than searching and searching for a vet.

We could never thank Petar enough for what was one of the hardest days of mine and Darren’s life life so far, having to make the decision to let our beloved dog Archie go after loving him for over 17 years his health and body had started failing him which was hard to watch. We knew we wanted to say our final goodbye at home so was recommended Petar through our own vets we remembered his as a vet from our surgery who had treated Archie before so we thought that quite fitting.
Well the day came on Tuesday 8th April 2025 10.00am Petar came and the minute he stepped into our home, for what was a devastating experience his calming ora and compassion somehow made it peaceful and beautiful. He talked us through every step explaining everything what will happen and when.
We ended up saying goodbye to Archie sat in our garden with the sun beaming down on us and listening to the birds singing Petar stayed with us a while and spoke lovely words of how he could see how much Archie was loved and what he meant to us and also we meant to him. A week later we received a condolence card with lovely words from Petar and family and also a text message to let us know he was thinking of us which was lovely and so kind.
For such a heartbreaking loss Petar went above and beyond we will never be able to thank him for making saying goodbye to Archie so special. Archie was so loved and will forever be missed he’s left a massive whole in our hearts.

I cant express enough the most heartfelt thankyou to Dr. Petar, for the endless Kindness, care ,compassion, dedication and the most amazing efficiency he has shown us during our time of need for our 14 year old Caverlier, Charlie .
We came across their website in the evening, i sent a message, they phoned me first thing in the morning, we knew Charlie needed help for the next day, the time had come. As arranged Petar arrived at approx 4 pm, which gave us some final quality hours to share with our boy and as a family, together. The kindness, warmth, care and understanding Petar gave to Charlie and to us all as a family was something we will never forget, He enabled a calm, peaceful and dignified farewell, at home and in his favourite chair, with us all around him and with his mummy till the end. The professionalism was beyond seamless, Dr Petar, gave me time afterwards and before leaving with charlie, Dr petar wrapped him beautifully up in a fleece blanket in a bed, just like he was asleep. He returned today with his ashes, again the most wonderful kindness and care given to us was amazing,
also the attention to detail from the crematorium he is aligned with, was exactly as Dr. Petar had described and has the most amazing packaging, beautiful prints from Dr. Petar and family for Charlie's paws and nose, his fur in the most beautiful vial and his paw print in foam were stunning and such a beautiful touch that we will carry with us forever,
In practical terms, their pricing structure is completely transparent, the process was unbelievably seamless and their website is true to its word. Thankyou so very much for making the hardest goodbye a dignified one and the most kindest send off we could have wished for, for Charlie. We don’t know where to begin to thank both Petar and Elena enough for helping us say goodbye to our gorgeous staffy boy Bruce. From the first phone call to the last contact of receiving him home Elena and Petar were kind, caring and compassionate not only to our family but to Bruce. He would constantly chat with Bruce and give him a fuss, even at the end he was so incredibly respectful and gentle with him, which we will never forget. It’s never easy, deciding to say goodbye, but you both made it that bit easier. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, we will be forever grateful!

It was a very hard decision to make when we decided that our twenty-year old cat had to be put to sleep. Petar, though, has a lovely kind attitude and made the best of a very difficult day for us. His calm and gentle matter, understanding of how we felt and explanation of each step helped us in our cat's final moments. I can't stress enough how kind he is, even sending us a card to commiserate us on our loss. Our cat's ashes were brought back in a week in a beautiful box, by Elena, again with warmth and kindness, contained in a special bag. A very sad day for us was made bearable by Petar and I would highly recommend him if the sad day comes for you.

I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Petar for the compassion he showed when we had to say goodbye to my precious girl fidget. He spoke softly, explained what was going to happen, was caring towards fidget making it as stress free as possible. He gave us time to say goodbye and waited until we were ready for him to take her. Even putting her into his van, he put a teddy next to her. Petar brought her back in a lovely box with her hair, a print of her foot and note and a lovely note. Thanks to elena for getting back to me so quickly, great communication. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Saying goodbye to Otter

Saying goodbye to Otter was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, but Petar & Elena (The Vet 2 Go) made a heartbreaking experience as peaceful and dignified as possible. From the moment we made the phone call they were incredibly calm, gentle and reassuring. When Petar arrived at our home he explained every single step and never made us feel rushed. Otter was able to pass away peacefully, at home surrounded by love until the very end. When it was time for Otter to go on his final journey Petar wrapped him in a blanket and put a Teddy with him, to give him company. We will be forever grateful for this compassionate service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Vet 2 Go. Thank you
